Where color is critical in print, light matters. Light is where color is born. Color is not created by ink or dye on paper. The ink modifies the amount of colored light that reflects off the paper. The color is actually in the light. This idea is difficult for many of us. We have described color by ink and paper for a very long time - it doesn't make much practical sense for us to start describing color based upon light.
